Welcome to Higher Education in Germany!
This website is here to help students, researchers and faculty in the USA and Canada on their journey to study or research in Germany. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany. Our 14 international offices provide information as well as financial support to over 50,000 highly-qualified students and faculty per year for international research and study. One of the largest of those international offices is here at DAAD New York, where we help students, faculty and current DAAD fellows in the US and Canada. How can we help you?
DAAD Science Tour 2008
In December 2008, DAAD will sponsor an informational visit to Germany on current developments of life science in Germany, addressing various aspects of higher education, research funding, interdisciplinary cooperation and industrial application. Special focus will be given to scientific developments in the fields of neuroscience and medicine. Participants will learn about current research at the various institutions, and will meet with possible future partners in research and student exchange.
